Hey tweets!

I followed up yesterday with a trip up the Putvin trail today. No new year birds up there, and I got a bit of rain, but I think it has good birding potential. Lots of Sooty Grouse, and Varied and Hermit Thrush at the top.

Hood Canal was more interesting, with a Rhinoceros Auklet in the morning, and Marbled Murrelet and California Gull in the afternoon (162-164). Purple Martins are nesting at the pilings at Jorsted Creek, another fun find!
