Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday June 25. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On June 23 a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was at Clearwater Park in Springfield.
This park is also good for Red-eyed Vireos. A LEAST FLYCATCHER was seen June
23 near Rocky Point on Upper Klamath Lake. The Fern Ridge Reservoir LEAST
FLYCATCHER continues to be seen.

On June 22 a pair of ANCIENT MURRELETS were observed actively feeding a
chick off Fishing Rock near Lincoln City. A HEERMANN?S GULL was among a
large group of BROWN PELICANS at Nehalem State Park June 17. A GRAY CATBIRD
was seen June 23 on the North Spit of Coos Bay.

Shorebirds at Ridgefield NWR June 20 included five GREATER YELLOWLEGS, a
LESSER YELLOWLEGS, four LEAST SANDPIPERS, two RED-NECKED PHALAROPES, and a
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER. That day about 30 WHITE PELICANS were over Scappoose
Bay.
On June 23 an adult WHITE THROATED SPARROW was at Pittock Mansion in SW
Portland.

On June 19 a REDSTART was near Bend and another was at Malheur NWR
Headquarters.
