This bird, presumably an escapee, has been seen at the mouth of DesMoines Creek, a few feet north of the DesMoines pier, for the past 2-3 days. It has a yellow leg band, but photo doesn?t allow you to see the markings. And if you cross the creek at the first foot-bridge, it has been observed both upstream and downstream. It is a spectacular duck.
