Return of the Western Bluebird to the San Juan Islands (Rose O?Donnell)

Gone for nearly 40 years, the Western Bluebird is coming back to the San Juans, thanks to work by bird lovers. Kathleen Foley, stewardship manager with the San Juan Preservation Trust, and will tell the story of the reintroduction of the once-common bluebird to the Garry oak ecosystem on the islands. This lecture is sponsored by the Seattle Mountaineers Naturalists Study Group. Open to the public. Guests: $5
