Tweets,

For the last few years there has been "symbiotic" nesting of Great Blue Herons and Peregrine Falcons along the Duwamish River in West Seattle. The herons nest on the wooded hillside of Pigeon Point, just Southwest of the West Seattle Bridge. The Peregrine Falcons who nest on the high bridge have established an "Eagle no fly zone" around their nesting turf, which also serves to protect the heron rookery.
