I just got a reliable report from a Washington Department of Fish and
Wildlife worker that a possible Laysan Albatross was observed 2.5 miles
south of Scatchett Head on the southwest side of Whidbey Island. This
location is on the western side of Possession Bar pretty much in the middle
of Puget Sound. It might be visible from Point No Point but a boat is a
more likely method of finding it. They took some photos which I will get
tonight. More later.
