I am back from two weeks in Texas (cold weather) where I visited with
relatives and did some birding. (202 species) A GRAY-CROWNED
YELLOWTHROAT was the best bird.

This morning I viewed 26 TRUMPETER SWAN and 2 TUNDRA SWAN from my yard on
Discovery Bay. The group flew out of the bay and into the Strait of Juan
de Fuca. They landed in a smooth patch of water there.

There is a significant bird movement going on here over the past four
days. Yesterday, I did a big day from inside my house and observed 51
species. Spring migration is fun.
