A BLACK OYSTERCATCHER flew past the Edmonds fishing pier heading south at 10:45 am on March 18.

A TURKEY VULTURE was over I-5 about 2 miles north of the Bow-Edison exit on March 19.

At least three adult dark-morph (?Blue Geese?) birds were in a flock of several thousand SNOW GEESE south of Calhoun Road on Bradshaw Road, Skagit Flats, on March 19.

About 50 male (didn?t have the time to carefully pick out females) EURASIAN WIGEONS were in a flock of 400-500 American Wigeons on Samish Island Road north of the West 90 on the Samish Flats on March 19. Amazingly, several Am. Wigeon flocks of 100 or more birds within a mile or two of that flock had no Eurasians. I don?t know what it is about that area that attracts so many Eurasians every spring.
