Sorry to hear that some jerk stole your scope.
When you do get a more expensive scope, I highly recommend checking with your insurance company to see if it can be insured. ?Mine is insured for ~$30 per year under a "Valuable Articles" add-on. ?
About 5 years ago, my scope was stolen from my car, but fortunately I already had the insurance. ?Having it makes me feel a lot more relaxed about bringing my scope afield.
