Top 'o the Mornin' Tweeters -

If you haven't seen Ireland's Wild River, which aired again last nite on PBS (Nature), I highly recommend it. Luckily I caught seeing it for the 2nd time and it is a beautiful piece. (I had actually just been thinking about it - it does stick with you).

Floating down the Shannon (Ireland's longest river), it shows the beauty of the landscape along with beautiful music and of course, many birds and lots of other flora and fauna as the narrator canoes the river showing it in all seasons. Spectacular photography. I was particularly taken with the slow motion photography of a kingfisher and the murmuration scenes of starlings settling in for the night. I could watch these scenes alone over and over. But there are also many beautiful shorebirds to enjoy.

Well, outside to clip some ferns and check on my flora and fauna.

PS - you can watch it online as well.
