I saw 3+ Western Tanagers (2 male, 1 female) around 6PM Wednesday(May6) in a tree next to the pedestrian bridge crossing Pacific to the middle of the Health Sciences Buildings on the University of Washington Campus. The low evening sun had just come out from behind clouds, and they were pretty much at eye level only 12? from me. It was the best view I?ve ever had of those beautiful birds.
