Hello all,
There were two Ibis at the Walla Walla River delta this morning - up from 1 yesterday. No sign of the Snowy Plover this morning - it was a one-day wonder - 4th record for the county. But yesterday was calm and today the wind was howling out there - who know what tomorrow might bring!
At Penninsula Habitat Management Unit of McNary NWR were 14 Forster's Terns - feasting on millions of minnows jumping out of the water - the surface was hopping!

Mike came home from Walla Walla an hour ago and had watched an adult Northern Goshawk catch a Brewer's Blackbird just south of Fort Walla Walla - amazing sight to see in town for sure.

Good spring birding, ML
