Today I returned to the refuge looking for blue-winged teal reported to me earlier. Barry Woodruff and I did not find them and also I did not hear the chat from the footbridge. It was raining so that may have played into it being silent.

We did find one and possibly two Hammond's flycatchers on the trail.
