I was told that state fish and wildlife, last week, captured a large number of Red Knots in Grays Harbor using cannon nets. I wish I could remember the number. I think it was in the hundreds. Based on my visits over the last several weeks, a large number of knot arrived in Grays Harbor somewhere around May 5.
