Lots of Vashon rarities yesterday:
Friday:
Harsi and Ezra Parker report a Western Kingbird and Lazuli Bunting at Pt.
Robinson. Both species are very rare for Vashon.
Joe Van Os has a Palm Warbler visiting the water feature at his house on
Luana Beach Road, which is near Pt. Robinson. This is only the second
sighting for Vashon.
Ron Simons had a White-throated Sparrow visit his place today, which is
getting late for them on the Island, though we have two later May records in
the database.
Gary Shugart found a House Wren in Vashon town.
