Subject: [Tweeters] Odd Couple (Magnuson Park)

I saw what I'm fairly certain were a female Common Goldeneye and a male
Barrow's Goldeneye (first year?) foraging as a pair along the waterfront at
Magnuson near the picnic tables on the east end, ID'd by the female's very
low forehead and large, mostly black bill, and the male's contrasting
forward forehead and short bill. I may be wrong about the female, but I
thought it was interesting enough to share, and maybe someone else has seen
them. Here's to hoping for ducklings.
