I'm heading over to Yakima County this weekend for our annual owl/woodpecker trip. But with all the reports of Grasshopper Sparrows they'll have to be added to the list of targets. They would be a life bird!

So does anyone one have a reliable spot for Grasshopper Sparrows in the Yakima area north to Othello and Ellensburg? And any suggestions regarding timing for finding them active and vocal?
