This morning Mitch Blanton and I had 3 sightings of a Gray Catbird (we assumed it was the same bird), at Diablo, Highway 20, in town, along the river, in a space of approximately 100 yards, just up the hill a bit from the boat launch. Also viewed in the same patch, or close thereto:

MacGillivray's Warbler
Wilson's Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Downy Woodpecker
Rufous Humingbird
Warbling Vireo
Western Tanager
Black-headed Grosbeak
Red-bellied Sapsucker
Rough-winged Swallow
Tree Swallow
Cliff Swallow
Barn Swallow
Violet-Green Swallow
American Robin
Western Wood-Pewee
Wood Duck
Common Raven
Canada Geese
White-crowned Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Spotted Sandpiper
Bohemian Waxwing
Common Merganser
Band-tailed Pigeons

A most pleasing, active and rewarding hour to spend in a light rain in Diablo!
