Thanks David. That's neat to know, and a good reminder.

Years ago, I was with a group that saw two Long-eared Owls, and unfortunately the leader of our group kept going closer to get better pictures, and flushed them both. I felt badly at the time, but being a newbie didn't say anything, but I have never forgotten that incident. As I remember, the owls left.
