Hi all,

First, thanks Ryan for posting this update. I know John Gatchet was still
birding Neah Bay so maybe he has an afternoon update.

I just wanted to give some specific details as to the Tennessee Warbler
(TEWA) viewing. As Ryan mentioned the yard borders Dawnsridge Road (marked
by a green road sign). This a about .5 mile west from milepost 9 and a
little over a mile west of the Sekiu River Road. It was viewable from the
road today. It was viewed as well on Tuesday from the road but we also
asked permission from the homeowner to walk the lawn to get closer to it
and the hardy fuschia bushes on Tuesday. If you plan on trying for this
bird please stand at the road or go ask for access permission first. I was
not able to talk to the owners today about birder access on to their front
lawn.

Paul, Barbara, and I did a bit more exploring today after leaving Neah Bay
in the morning. We were unable to relocate the Clallam Bay Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher. A Tropical Kingbird in La Push was the afternoon highlight.

Brad Waggoner in Neah Bay
this morning. They did not see the Summer Tanager that was there yesterday
afternoon, but did have a Tropical Kingbird, late Yellow Warbler, Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher, Clay-colored Sparrow, and at least 2 Palm Warblers in town
around Lincoln and Blue Jay Streets along Bayview Ave (the main road
through town). Brad also had a Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch on the jetty, and
the Tufted Duck was back in the harbor after eluding detection the past two
days.

The Tennessee Warbler and late Wilson's Warbler continue from 11/3, and
were joined by an Orange-crowned Warbler while feeding in a large fuchsia
bush that's visible from the highway about 12 miles east of Neah Bay, in
the yard immediately east of Dawnsridge Rd.
