While out birding I noted the increasing number of snow geese in the Snoqualmie Valley.
At the field just south of Crescent Lake, south of Monroe, I found 48 snow geese: 2 adults and 46 juveniles!

Has anyone else been noticing large numbers of juveniles with only a tiny number of adults? Seems unlikely these were the parents for all these youngsters.
