Bruce makes a good point and speaking for birds observed at Ocean Shores on Monday... None of the birds I encountered vocalized and should more correctly be reported as Tropical/couches Kingbirds. The two birds I photographed did however show relatively long bills. Check especially the 2nd bird photographed and uploaded on the ebird checklist submitted. The first is not positioned to show the bill well. Sounds like at least some of the Ocean Shores birds did vocalize for other observers confirming Tropical (as expected)for at least a couple of these birds.
