I spent the morning scoping the waters off Rosario Head at Deception Pass
to see what the winds may have blown in. It was interesting, with a RED
PHALAROPE, a light morph NORTHERN FULMAR, and PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER being
the big highlights. There were also a couple other tubenoses that got
away, likely another fulmar and another Pink-footed Shearwater, and a large
Humpback Whale.

At March Point the Great Egret was successfully fishing along the shore off
the southeast corner of the point. Among the Snow Geese on Fir Island were
at least 17 blue morph Snow Geese and 80+ Cackling Geese. A Yellow-headed
Blackbird was with a blackbird flock along Mann Rd.

Good birding,
