Hey Tweets: Of course I checked out not only Tony Angell's book "The House of Owls" (I agree, a must have) on this site, but one of my favorite photographers?is also included....Tom Mangelsen's "The Last Great Wild Places". I have one of his photos of a Northern Spotted Owl hanging in my home...and used to have a large?photo of?one called "First Winter" of a mother polar bear and her two cubs. Also mentioned was "H is for Hawk" by Helen Macdonald, which I have read; it was painful to read. Without meaning to lessen her experience, there is a lot of angst there and it made for almost an uncomfortable read...I felt badly for the goshawk! But that's just my take on the story.Anyway, there are some good books on that list of winners.Dianna MooreOcean Shores??
