I just came back from Nisqually NWR where I had a Swan Goose hanging out
with some Cacklers. It was seen at about 1:40 pm or so on the freshwater
side of the dike as you're heading out to the estuary boardwalk. No doubt
an escape/release from captivity or a feral bird. It stayed well away from
the trail and didn't seem at all interested with humans.
