I?ve seen the same thing here in Port Townsend. A pair of eagles has been carrying a lot of nesting material, and I thought it was early too, but I guess we?ll find out!

Two BALD EAGLES have been flying over my house all morning. One flew so low that I could see it was carrying a branch. Is it possible that they could be building a nest? Isn't this unusually early???
