Today Karen and I came upon a Red-tailed Hawk eating what appeared to be
road kill in the Snoqualmie Valley. We had never seen a Red-tailed Hawk
scavenging before and wondered if the flooded valley had anything to do
with it. Here is a video

The hawk seemed to be road wise and avoided traffic while we were there.
