Hi Birders and Banders,
I've just uploaded the VARC fall blog with all the activity from a very busy fall period of monitoring and banding at Colony Farm.
Included in this blog are photo essays on Emergency Osprey banding and Emergency Bald Eagle banding which made CTV News, molt and ageing information on several uncommon species including Gray Catbird, Swamp Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow and Red-breasted Sapsucker, a discussion on avian ticks and a full photo essay on this season's Northern Saw-whet Owl banding!
