Hello all,

A reminder about the upcoming birding event in Omak on January 16-18, 2016. The Great North-Central Washington Bird Race is a friendly, birding contest aimed at bringing financial help to wildfire-affected communities of North-Central Washington. When birders come from all over the state to tour areas looking for birds, they spend money on lodging, food, fuel, and other items that all benefit the local economy.

This region already is having reports of Great Gray Owl, Gray Partridge, Snow Bunting, Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch, Pine Grosbeak, and White-winged Crossbill. Who knows what you will find in January?

More details can be viewed on the WOS website: www.wos.org

Please email me to register for this great event!

Thank you,
