After a 15 min. walk in a very cold wind, I had spotted Killdeer, both
goldeneyes, DC Cormorant, and a Horned Grebe, but no eider. When I took
one last look before climbing into the car, there she was. I had parked in
that last narrow parking area on Ruston Way, and she was directly north of
me, east of the ferry/sales office at 3:00 Tuesday.
