Hi all,
Went out to Point No Point this morning to see what the wind blew in.
Didn't find any surprises out on the water, but at the lighthouse a
male *White-winged
Crossbill* was shocking, especially since I detected it flying by the rocks
by the lighthouse before it alit briefly in the cedars by the lighthouse
vacation rental where it offered only desultory looks before flying away
toward the row of houses along the beach and the uplands behind them. The
bird flew far before I lost sight of it, so I didn't try to relocate it,
having had brief but reasonable looks.

Also, a late Common Yellowthroat at Foulweather Bluff.

Good Birding!
