I tried for a second viewing of the King Eider in Tacoma today, but the
queen was nowhere to be found. I searched from the Point Ruston boat to in
front of the condos and back to the lobster shop restaurant, but she wasn't
seen. I did see two good sized flocks of ducks while driving to the north
of the restaurant, but I didn't stop to see if she could be there.

I did, however, have several new birds for Ruston Way. Bewick's Wren and
both kinglet species were heard, as well as a Steller's Jay and I had two
female Common Mergansers in front of the Point Ruston boat.
