Someone ( I won't say who!!) was kind enough to point out to me that my earlier Tweeters post required some clarification.


The light fixture where the bird has perched (see below) is above the door to the men's restroom on the OUTSIDE of the building.

Yesterday I stopped at Centennial Park on 208th (Maltby Rd) a mile or so west of Bothell Everett Hwy in Bothell, Canyon Park. The light fixture above the men's restroom was loaded with whitewash as was the ground below. Tiny feathers were everywhere. Possible a dining location for a Northern Saw-whet Owl? If a Tweeter is passing by after dark, it might be fun to take a look. And during the day a search just might provide one with a look at a saw-whet at its day roost.
