Despite my saying that this delightful place is not always a hot spot, there were more interesting birds this morning, including:


9 Bonarparte's Gulls, 20+ Black Turnstones, two alcids, a possible Clarke's Grebe, still 2 Rock Wrens and a Western Meadowlark.


What it also is, is cold, so bring your long johns.
