I am admittedly not good at identifying gulls, but a combination of various colors of the head, wings, tail, and bill is making it even more difficult for me to take a stab at the identity of one I saw Friday afternoon at Marina Park in Edmonds. ? The dark head looks as though it may be in transition in or out of breeding plumage.?
