I just spent the last 2-3 minutes watching a pair of hummingbirds out on my front porch/deck doing a mating type dance in and around the 3 feeders I have hanging from the scroll work holding up the awning. It's cool, damp and the fog is lifting. Is chasing each other a way to keep warm? I can't imagine them laying eggs in the fall.
