I went to the Montlake Fill today to look for the Sandhill Crane. No luck there, despite it being reported only 1 hour before I showed up....
I did, however, find an equally good bird, a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW!!! This bird had not been previously reported, but I posted it on Whatbird, and it's been confirmed
I have photos that I can send people when I upload them.
What a great bird! Lifer!!!
