Dear Tweeters,
Next June or July, I intend to go birding in Peru.
I haven't been there before, but have birded Ecuador, Costa Rica, and a few other Neotropic spots.
Maybe some Tweeters could give me their views on a few questions.
--how feasible would it be to bird solo there, sans guide?
--what human-related safety concerns might there be (crime, traffic accidents, officialdom)?
--what are the top spots to visit for birding?
