As I was wandering around The Fill this morning, hoping for a glimpse of the Clay-colored Sparrow, a fellow birder tipped me off about a Snow Goose in the bay. I walked out to East Point and could see it perched on a log to the southeast. The black primaries were well seen. I note from eBird records that no eBirder has reported one at this location for almost two years. It was a nice consolation for missing the sparrow.
