I took some pictures, this morning, when I got out of my car to walk to the
WSDOT headquarters building and saw a Barred Owl on the edge of the sidewalk
along 17th, near the Capitol campus in Olympia, South Capitol neighborhood:

I saw presumably the same owl last week in roughly the same spot at roughly
the same time, about 6:15 am.



Others saw and photographed a Barred Owl, last week, perched on the rail of
the pedestrian bridge over Capitol Way, at about 9:30 am, when it was fully
daylight.



Urban owl (or owls), it appears.
