Drive into Larabee state park where the campground is, and go left Parkinglot. There should be a big stage and covered area. There is a tunnel that goes under the tracks for easy access to the water.

Clayton beach requires some hiking, scurrying down some rocks, taking a left at the train tracks, walk down the tracks just a ways, then trail are very visible.

Also there is a side road at the bridge on the north end of chuckanut drive where you can pull over.

And there is also Mud Bay if you turn a sharp left at the gallery on Fairhaven Ave.

You could also go to the public park on Samish Island while you are out there.
