Hey tweets, just thought I'd let you know that tomorrow, during the First Thursday art walk through the galleries of Pioneer Square, sumi artist Hiroko Seki and I will be giving a poetry reading and sumi demonstration at Azuma Gallery from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. from our book about the birds of Montlake Fill. Free food and wine for all those intrepid enough to come.

In other news, I got a reply from my email to "Wild Future," the Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife's outreach attempt to find out how Washingtonians want to set priorities for use of public lands. They thanked me for my input, which means that somebody actually did receive it and is responding. Numbers count in efforts like these, so I'm really glad to be a number for this. If you want to swell the numbers of people putting in a plug for wildlife habitat preservation as a top priority, here is their email address:
