Today, while standing on my deck, which is near the Salmon Creek green belt, I heard what I believe is the call of a Red-shouldered Hawk .? I used to have a nesting pair in the trees behind my place in California, so it's? a sound I am acquainted with.? Anyhow, people walking along the Salmon Creek Trail should keep their eyes and ears open!
