Tweets, As the weather broke Monday morning the activity in the neighborhood prompted me to check my favorite haunts. Turns out lots of birds were on the move, many in mixed flocks. - Black-th Gray Warbler - 6+
- Yellow Warbler - 3-4, getting late for here
- Orange-cr Warbler - 3
- Yellow-r Warbler - 2+
- One tantalizingly different warbler call in understory that I couldn't identify
- Warbling Vireo - 1, probably the latest I've seen here
- Fox Sparrow - lots, some singing "competitively" in full voice
- Golden-cr Sparrow - group of 30
- White-cr Sparrow - 2
- Song Sparrow - many singing
- Pacific Wren - overall more numbers; 2 singing "competitively in full voice
- Bewick's Wren - some singing
- Marsh Wren - one somewhat out of place
- Violet-gr Swallow - large group
Good birding!
