My wife and I have been seeing two such chickadees on our feeders in Sammamish for the past two weeks. One has a lot of white on the head and back; the other just on its back. WHITEY !!! ... is it him ??? ... we had a leucistic black-capped Chickadee in our yard last fall/winter but we haven't seen him since maybe February ... he was a regular visitor to the seed block ... didn't seem to like the suets ... we named him "Whitey" ...

Subject [Tweeters] Leucistic chickadee



Among the two kinds of chickadees that frequent my feeder, I saw a third, looking as if it were wearing a white mantle. It didn't look like a Mountain Chickadee, my ID is a leucistic Black-capped Chickadee. If anyone thinks my ID is wrong, please let me know. Photo at link below:
