Speaking of getting back on the list again (my last message), I have a few
belated sightings to report for my place off Admiral in West Seattle. Last
Thursday I had a White-throated Sparrow begin to come to my feeder, first of
season bird for me. A week ago Saturday, I heard my first Varied Thrush of
the season begin to call from down in the green belt gully. Through the end
of the week I saw and heard Western Tanagers and in the beginning of the
week Orange-crowned, Townsend's and Wilson's Warblers. I haven't heard the
tanagers or warblers this week, so they may have moved on.
