Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday April 7. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On April 1 a TUFTED DUCK was on the Columbia Rive off the Sandy River Delta.
Another was at the Lower Klamath NWR April 3. An offshore boat trip about 50
miles off Tillamook County March 2 photographed five PARAKEET AUKLETS.
TUFTED PUFFINS are now back at Haystack Rock in Seaside.

On April 2 a LONG-TAILED DUCK was at Port Orford. A BAIRD?S SANDPIPER was
seen April 6 at New River south of Bandon. Two CASPIAN TERNS were at the
South Jetty of the Columbia River April 3. Another was over the Columbia
River off Ridgefield NWR April 1. A warbler movement during the week brought
good numbers of YELLOW-RUMPED, ORANGE-CROWNED, BLACK-THROATED GRAY, and a
few TOWNSEND?S and NASHVILLE WARBLERS. A few CASSIN?S VIROES were also
noted. A MacGillivray?s Warbler was seen April 6 near Day?s Creek in Douglas
County.

On April 3 two BLACK-NECKED STINTS were at Baskett Slough NWR. One was along
Duckflat Road near Stayton April 6. Four colorful BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS were
photographed April 4 at Ankeny NWR. A male CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD visited a
Eugene feeder March 31. A male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was on Marys Peak April 2.

On April 3 a FRANKLIN?S GULL, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, and a RED-BREASTED
SAPSUCKER were at Summer Lake.
