Hi Tweets,

Barbara and I had a short trip to Pacific County for a family visit, but
found a couple of hours to spend at Beard's Hollow near Ilwaco, which is
part of the state park at Cape Disappointment Orange-crowned Warblers
seemed to be singing everywhere, and we found our first Common Yellowthroat
of the year perched up briefly at a small swampy pond near the beach. On
the way down we spotted a Caspian Tern diving into the Willapa River in
South Bend, and both days we spotted a Turkey Vulture over US 101 near the
Long Beach Peninsula. There was also an Osprey at Black Lake near Ilwaco.

Enjoy the season!
