Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday April 14. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

A bright DICKCISSEL was photographed during the week at a feeder along
Cherokee Lane in Camp Sherman. On April 12 a colorful male SUMMER TANAGER
was photographed near Prineville.

Conspicuous migrants during the week included WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, COWBIRDS,
VAUX?S SWIFT, BLUE-WINGED TEAL, WILSON?S WARBLER, and single WESTERN
TANAGERS at Bandon and Corvallis.

On April 8 a flock of 35 WHIMBRELS were along Wireless Road in Astoria. A
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was photographed at a Manzanita feeder April 11. A
LONG-EARED OWL was calling April 10 along Thornton Creek near Toledo.

A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was on the Clark College Campus in Vancouver April
13. Six WHITE PELECANS were at Finley NWR April 7. A SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER
was there April 11. Up to nine BLACK-NECKED STILTS were at Fern Ridge
Reservoir April 10. A LONG-EARED OWL was on Skinner Butte in Eugene April
13.

Among the swarms of SNOW and ROSS?S GEESE during the week at Malheur NWR
were up to ten BLUE GEESE. On April 8 a MARBLED GODWIT was near Burns.
