Western Field Ornithologists is pleased to announce the availability of
youth scholarships for the WFO 2016 conference to be held in Humboldt County,
California from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2nd. Eight scholarships are available
for youth between the ages of 12 and 22, with six scholarships for youths
in Grades 6 through 12 and two scholarships for collegiate youths working
toward a Bachelor's degree. The application deadline is May 15, 2016. The
annual WFO conference is a four day event that includes scientific
presentations, workshops, field trips, experts' sound and visual identification
panels, and social activities. For additional details about the scholarships
